Andrea Sartain, MSN, RN, CNL
Mrs. Sartain received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing in 2003. In 2010, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the Capstone College of Nursing. She is certified by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL).
Mrs. Sartain began her nursing career as a nurse in the Trauma – Surgical Intensive Care Unit. After leaving critical care, Mrs. Sartain began working with a local hospice agency as the clinical manager. She joined the Capstone College of Nursing as a part-time faculty member in 2009, and she began as a full-time faculty member in 2011. Mrs. Sartain has supervised clinical students in NUR 372: Professional Nursing Practice: Adults, as well as NUR 324: Fundamentals of Professional Nursing. Mrs. Sartain is also responsible for the overall functioning of The Simulation Center for Clinical Excellence.
