Leigh Tubbs received her Bachelors Degree in the Science of Nursing from The University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing.  She then went forward to receive her Masters Degree in the Science of Nursing in the Clinical Nurse Leader track. She received her Clinical Nurse Leader certification. Leigh Tubbs is currently a doctoral student at The University of Alabama, seeking an EdD in Instructional Leadership with a Nurse Education Specialization. Her research interests include Spirituality, Innovative Teaching Strategies, and all areas of Women’s Health.

Leigh Tubbs is currently employed as an Instructor at The University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing.  Her teaching responsibilities include Concepts of Professional Nursing and Professional Nursing Practice: Childbearing Families.  Her nursing background is primarily in the area of Women’s Health.
