Scholarships
Several types of scholarships are available to nursing students attending The University of Alabama. Incoming freshman, transfer students and current nursing students may be eligible for Capstone College of Nursing Scholarships.
The Capstone College of Nursing offers the following scholarships, however only one application is needed to be eligible for all scholarships listed below:

Please complete the appropriate application to be considered for Capstone College of Nursing Scholarships. See below for application instructions:
Incoming freshman and transfer student can apply for admission and scholarships online, or obtain a printable version of the application, at http://apply.ua.edu. The priority deadline for freshman is December 1 and for transfer students is January 15 annually.
Current students enrolled in the Capstone College of Nursing may apply each fall for the next academic year. The current student scholarship application is due to the Office of Nursing Student Services by December 1 for consideration. Capstone College of Nursing students with at least a 2.8 overall Grade Point Average are encouraged to apply for scholarships.
*RN Mobilty Award.
**Graduate Students admitted into the Capstone College of Nursing will receive scholarship information and an application as a part of the admissions packet.

In addition to these endowed scholarships, annual scholarships are available from various individuals, groups, and foundations. Specific information about scholarships may be obtained from the Office of Nursing Student Services at the Capstone College of Nursing and from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Scholarships at The University of Alabama. Current Capstone College of Nursing Students should check their BAMA Mail frequently for updates on any external scholarship opportunities that may be available to Nursing students.
