Biography
Samyuktaa Chawla is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC, Massachusetts) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, Alabama) serving as an embedded therapist within the Capstone College of Nursing. She brings a diverse and well-rounded clinical background, with experience across various clinical settings such as day treatment (facilitating group therapy), community behavioral health (individual counseling), college counseling, as well as teaching and advising undergraduate students.
Samyuktaa has dedicated her professional work to supporting individuals navigating the complexities of anxiety disorders, depression and other mood disorders, trauma, grief, relationship issues, identity and intersectional issues, and a range of other mental health concerns through a holistic and strengths-based approach. Her breadth of experience has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of varied client needs, enabling her to provide thoughtfully tailored, evidence-informed therapeutic interventions.
She is deeply committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and inclusive environment where every student feels empowered to process their experiences, build effective coping strategies, and foster resilience and overall well-being. Samyuktaa is especially passionate about supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and strives to provide culturally responsive and trauma-informed care that honors each student’s unique story.
Outside of her professional work, Samyuktaa enjoys channeling her energy into gardening, hiking, dancing, practicing Yoga, running, weight training, reading, and cuddling with her beloved fur-baby, KitKat.
