Biography
Amber Akers joins CCN as a full-time clinical instructor. She received her BSN from The University of North Alabama in 2016. She began working on the Cardiac Care unit at Children’s of Alabama after graduation. She later became a hybrid nurse working in the cardiac ICU and the cardiac stepdown. In January of 2021, she became the Educator for the neuro, ortho, rehab, and epilepsy monitoring unit at Children’s of Alabama. She received her MSN from The University of North Alabama May of 2022. As a lifelong lover of the Crimson Tide she is so excited to be joining The Capstone College of Nursing!
