Biography
Kendall Estes, MSN, RN, CRNP, FNP-C, is excited to return home to the Capstone College of Nursing and join the CCN family. She graduated from The University of Alabama with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in December 2019. Kendall began her nursing career in the Trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit at DCH Regional Medical Center, where she developed a strong foundation in critical care and patient-centered nursing.
She later transitioned to the Cardiac Prep and Procedure Unit while completing her graduate studies. Kendall graduated from Samford University in December 2023 with her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. During her first year as a nurse practitioner, she completed a Nurse Practitioner Residency Program through Samford University, further strengthening her clinical knowledge, skills, and confidence as a provider.
Following her residency, Kendall practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a primary care clinic, where she gained valuable experience caring for patients across the lifespan and managing a broad range of acute and chronic health conditions. Her experience in both nursing and advanced practice has strengthened her passion for patient-centered care and lifelong learning.
Kendall is passionate about nursing education and is honored to have the opportunity to give back to the school that played an important role in her own nursing journey. She is committed to creating a supportive, engaging, and meaningful learning environment and helping students have an exceptional experience during their time at the Capstone. She is thrilled to be back home at The University of Alabama and looks forward to encouraging and mentoring the next generation of nurses.
