Research Assistant
Biography
Katie serves as a Research Assistant for the Health Resources and Services Administration Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Training Program for West Central Alabama at The University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing. She brings experience in program coordination and operations, including managing multi-stakeholder projects, communications, scheduling, recruitment, events, data tracking, and financial coordination.
In her role, Katie coordinates the day-to-day activities of the grant, including recruiting and supporting students participating in the SANE training program, coordinating program activities, engaging with community partners, and supporting grant administration and reporting. Her work helps promote and expand SANE training throughout West Alabama.
