Biography

Holly Stokley is a Senior Nursing Instructor at The University of Alabama. She received her MSN in Nursing Education from The University of North Alabama in 2017 and her BSN from The University of Alabama in 2011. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Nursing Research from the UA/UAH Nursing Science Program. Her research interests include technology, simulation, and nursing education.

Mrs. Stokley began her nursing career in 2011 and has worked in multiple areas including pulmonary med/surg, cardiac intensive care, trauma/surgical intensive care, and medical intensive care. Her primary area of care was Cardiac Intensive Care where she developed a love of the heart.

Mrs. Stokley earned her master’s degree in nursing education while working full time as a bed coordinator at a local hospital. She began her career as an instructor in 2017. Mrs. Stokley course leads Informatics and teaches in Adult Health and Health Assessment. She is a member of The Graduate Student Nursing Society and The Southern Nurses Research Society.
