Philip Fikes

Dear Alumni and Friends,

My name is Philip Fikes. I am a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and graduate of the University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing. For several years, I have had the privilege of serving as President of the Capstone College of Nursing Alumni Association.

CCNAA is excited about creating opportunities for alumni to stay connected and providing support to current nursing students. Now more than ever, we need your help to meet growing demands of our nation’s health care system and reduced revenue for higher education.

Our number one goal is to support and promote the Capstone College of Nursing. Please join our association and encourage friends and other CCN alumni to do so as well. Your annual alumni dues contribute to the growth and academic success of the Capstone College of Nursing and help ensure future generations of CCN nurses.

Join the CCN Alumni Association as we commit ourselves to the mission and vision of the Capstone College of Nursing.

Philip B. Fikes, CRNA, MNA
President, CCNAA

The University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing Alumni Association (CCNAA) is the official alumni support organization of the Capstone College of Nursing.

Composed of alumni and friends, CCNAA’s general purposes include increasing understanding, appreciation, and support for the goals, programs, and activities of the College. The Association is governed by a Board of Directors. CCNAA, founded in 1983, provides a mechanism for alumni to stay connected.

The Capstone College of Nursing invites all alumni, faculty, and friends of the College to become a partner for progress with the College by giving to the University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing Alumni Association.

Annual giving is one way that alumni can demonstrate their commitment and appreciation to the University and the College for the education they received. UACCNAA has supported the college through providing additional funds for scholarships and student activities, engaging alumni, and increasing the financial base that allows the College to participate in activities beyond day-to-day operations. For more information about UACCNAA contact Anita Hamlett, CCN Associate Senior Director of Development at (205) 348-9876 or ahamlett@ua.edu.
