Biography

Kimberly C. Parker received her Doctor of Nursing Administration and Education in from Samford University in August of 2018. She received her Master’s degree in Leadership from NOVA Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in June of 2013 and her BSN from Auburn University in Montgomery in June of 1991. Dr. Parker has 35 years of  nursing experience that includes staff nurse experience in ICU and the Emergency Department, Manager and DON experience at DCH and Centennial Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, School Nurse, and Mental Health prior to joining the Capstone College of Nursing in August of 2019. Her Capstone study was in strategic planning and her interests lie in mental health and leadership development. She is published and has been an invited speaker in leadership and critical thinking concepts.

Dr. Parker is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, American Nurses Association, National League of Nursing, and American Student Nursing Association.
