Biography
Krista is a dedicated nurse educator and a two-time alumna of the Capstone College of Nursing. She earned her BSN in December 2009 and began her career in a Medical Intensive Care Unit, a population that is still her passion. In August 2017, she obtained her MSN with dual concentrations in Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Shortly after graduation, Krista returned to her alma mater to serve as a full-time Clinical Instructor, bringing her passion for patient care and nursing education to the next generation of nurses. Now a Senior Instructor, she teaches across multiple programs, including Undergraduate, Graduate, and RN Mobility programs, shaping the future of nursing at all levels. Currently pursuing DNP degree, Krista is committed to advancing nursing practice, education, and patient outcomes. She feels truly blessed to be part of the Capstone College of Nursing community, where she continues to inspire and mentor students on their journey to excellence!
