The Capstone College of Nursing at the University of Alabama offers a comprehensive range of nursing programs designed for both new students and working professionals. Undergraduate options include a traditional BSN, an online RN-to-BSN, and a RN-to-BSN/MSN pathway. Graduate programs feature online MSN degrees with tracks such as Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Educator, and Nurse Executive. The college also offers an on-campus masters entry program for non-nursing graduates seeking entry into nursing. Doctoral options include a DNP (with BSN-to-DNP and post-MSN tracks) and a Nursing Science PhD (joint with UA Huntsville). Post-graduate certificates are also available for FNP and PMHNP specializations. We look forward to meeting your needs while preparing the future nursing workforce.
